Thanks, the graduation ceremony was weird for me, I guess it finally sunk in that I will not be seeing any of my teachers for sometime if ever again. I didn't have much friends and the little that I knew will not be missed at all. College life should be interesting, first, I don't have any concerns about making friends because I'm actually going there to study/learn and it's already costing me a fortune which I do not have! My father is helping me with a lot the expense but I need to pull my own weight as well. I guess the only thing they won't be charging me for is the air I breathe (not yet...)

You have to pay for EVERYTHING at George Brown College, it boggles my mind when I hear about people who flunk/drop out or failing courses, I think it's a big waste of MONEY and time. That's why I plan to stay focus, do the work and get that piece of paper at the end, whatever else that eventuates from the experience will be a bonus.

Philosophy, just hearing the word makes my headache a bit lol. Sorry to hear that you grew to dislike it but hey, it's good that you have an aim in life and psychology suits you. Maybe you could study me because I have a hard time trying to figure out my personality. I don't even want to imagine what your assignments are, good luck or better yet, study hard!

Cooking at your own pace is the best, never mind how long it takes just as long as the end result is to your liking. What do you like to cook? For me it's got to be grilled chicken based with honey garlic barbecue sauce, yum yum.

I don't have any set plans as of now, or I guess finding an apartment with a reasonable rent price is on the list, and brushing up on my baking skills is pretty much it for now. I'll let you know how things progress as they go along.

All is well on my end so far. I just got through graduation and now I\'m looking forward to starting college in September. I\'m also shopping for an apartment close to my school and I\'m practicing my baking. Oh, I\'m going to study pastry, it\'s my passion and has been for a while.

I\'m learning how to vector as well and it\'s no fun at all. Photoshop is so complicated, I don\'t think I\'ll ever get used to it but I do sort of like the outcome of my vector thus far. Maybe you could provide me with some tips? Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated at this point. When I\'m finished with the outlines I don\'t know what to do from there, I do not know how to color it or where to start. Anyway I figured since this is the only free time I will have in my life from this point on, I may as well try to do something different like making a wallpaper.

Is it fun for you, learning how to vector? Do you have any intentions of making a paper? What are you doing for your summer break or don\'t you get any? What are you studying/majoring? So many questions ( all should be answered or else I\'ll put a curse on you! ) Take care!

I took a course that lasted ten months and got the qualifications to work in my current job so school is finito indefinite! It took me a while to sort of master cooking, and when I say master I do mean eatable lol. I like baking and grilling. Those are super easy to do and less time consuming. Foods that I like to cook huh? Gosh I never really thought about it, I guess I like baked chicken which is why I bake them so often. Stir friend rice steamed vegetable's and nothing else comes to mind right now. What about you, are you currently studying anything FUN? And what is your favorite past time? Mine is drawing. I LOVE ART!

(XD) Your friends are on to something with the "Dr. Phil" bit. I know who he is, and have watched a few of his shows and thinks he's okay . However, I wouldn't go as far as saying that the two of you are exactly alike. I think if you went on his show, somehow Dr. Phil would have a warm time trying to figure out your personality. I'm pretty fluent in English (but I'm bad at it grammar wise) nothing else. French is the second language taught here and I do not know a word of it nor do I plan on learning it. Come to think of it, it's a miracle how I managed to get a passing mark in that class. Here, It's mandatory to get a French credit in order to graduate from high school and somehow (don't ask) I manage to get one. So Phillip, after writing "tofuguy" often, I think I'm going to stick with it. I've grown to like that name and think it suits you. But Phillip is also lovely.

I sound pretty silly when I try to speak Jamaican but I understand it well. The funny thing about my parents is they suit each other well despite being from different and diverse backgrounds. My father is a Caucasian man and also Canadian and he can speak Jamaican better than me, lol. I haven't written anything "nice" about them (parents) for a while so this is sort of nostalgic for me. It brings back a lot of fond memories of them.

So many unfortunate or bad situations has happened between us, and it all resulted in me cutting my ties with them for good-ish. I've been bitter about it for so long to the point where it has contributed to my poor health these days. And I find it hard, very hard to forgive them and move on with my life in a positive way. But I have moved on none the less, and it's not all good I can tell you that. Writing all this reminds me of a topic that I came across earlier today, something about forgiveness, I should reply to it.

Care to tell me a little bit about yourself tofuguy? Starting with your name (a nickname other than tofuguy or your birth given name) because I feel pretty silly writing "tofuguy" all the time, lol. See I just wrote it three times in this paragraph.

Hehe, in all honesty your personality sort of scares me. Please do not take any offense to what I’ve just written; in fact, I would like you to take it as a compliment. You challenge me to own up to my beliefs. And I'm currently struggling with my "beliefs" at the moment. The thing with me is I've had to fight for a majority of my life to prove the people within my surrounding, and who also had a direct influence on me, that I am "sane", and they’re not.

It's a long story, one of which I will share with you when I'm not pressed for time like I am right now. You strike me as a person who brings forth honesty; well, my perception of you is that you hold a very strong belief in what you say. "No bullshitting" and I like it, I don't necessarily agree with it, but I like it. It’s not a flaw at all and I encourage you to continue expressing yourself in a manner you see fit. You make people such as me "think harder"; you challenge us/me to look at things from all angles and for that you have my thanks.

I’m Canadian but my mother’s background is Jamaican so I can only presume that she gave me this name because it has some "deep meaning" to her roots. Or maybe my parents were drunk when they came up this random name, who knows. I’ve grown to like it in any case. I'm what most people call "molato", mixed race.

nod As for the book the reason why I chose the Demon Haunted World was they don't try to reason metaphysical things in empirical standards. If I wanted to recommend a book addressing the metaphysical I would recommend a book by John Locke or David Hume. shrug It's not really important but I just wanted to show that I wouldn't be as ill minded to recommend a book that I know you wouldn't like.

P.S. Personally, I enjoy reading books that I disagree with. I just make sure to have a yellow pad and pen to take note with. Gives me more to think about.

Your avatar suits you in a sense, it's kind of welcoming. Funny how I was intrigued by your replies to many posts. And I wondered how some of those guys managed to stay calm, when replying to you. But if you really take the time out to read and try to fully understand your point of view, then you become less hostile and in the end, they or rather, myself wants nothing more than to get to know you better. Hey, on The Demon Haunted World, the reason why I recommend that is because it discusses metaphysics in relation to science among many other things. Seriously, it's one of those books that I would suggest everyone read.
